We've been educating children since 1973. Our Teachers are passionate about child development and dedicated to creating a fascinating, dynamic environment for kids.
We offer nurturing care based on self-discovery through science, math, language and art, and believe play-based learning is a solid path to the development of critical thinking skills.
Our school seeks to inspire young children to embrace their innate curiosity about the world around them and to experience the natural joy of exploration and play within safe, beautiful, and rich environments. Our caring and professional community of educators implement an integrated science-based curriculum that promotes independence, problem-solving skills and social-emotional competence. We work in partnership with families to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and lasting connections.

My kids and we love every single thing about Sammamish Children’s School!
It’s hard to tell what we love the most over the other :) But to name a few would definitely be:
- every morning being greeted with a warm smile by each one at the school who we come across!
- Teachers are amazing! With the care, love, encouragement, attention to detail given to every child.
- The focus on the emotional & social intelligence of a child is so important here along with cognitive, intellectual, fine motor, writing, speech, and language skills.
- Safety, cleanliness, sanitation and classrooms being well organized.
- So many extracurricular activities to choose from! Huge outdoor playground to play in too!
- The food is so tasty and yet so nutritious!

Our large campus has been built for children and their families. Both classrooms and playground areas have been thoughtfully designed for kids of all ages. There are big play toys for climbing and sliding and covered sandboxes that give children many choices of where to play and explore.
The inside of our classrooms have a very open feel with appropriately sized furniture for the different age groups. Even the sinks and bathrooms are built just for kids, making your child feel comfortable and capable in their school surroundings. Many parents comment on how clean and well-organized our classrooms are.
Parents also like our location (207 228th Ave. SE) where they can easily drop off kids and conveniently get to/from our school to work or home.
Children one year and older can attend full or part-time through kindergarten. Students can continue on in our before & after school care through 5th grade.
